What You’re Getting
Five (5) stripped lower receivers, forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard-coat anodized. These are the same lowers that come on factory Sig M400 and SIG516 rifles. They are also fully compatible with any mil-spec AR-15 upper chambered in .223 Remington or 5.56x45mm NATO.
This is a bulk purchase for the builder who has multiple projects in mind, runs a shop, or just wants to have critical components on hand. The value is in the pack.
Key Features & Why They Matter
- Machined Ambidextrous QD Sling Mounts: Sig didn’t weld or attach them separately. They machined the QD sockets directly into the receiver’s sides. This is a cleaner, stronger setup for left or right-handed shooters. No sling adapters needed.
- Flared Magazine Well: The opening is subtly widened and beveled. In a stress situation or during drills, this makes magazine insertion faster and more positive. It’s a small detail that makes a difference.
- Forged Aluminum Construction: This isn’t polymer or cheap alloy. It’s 7075-T6, the standard for durability. The black anodizing is a hard-wear finish, not just paint.
Important Build Notes
This is a stripped lower receiver. You will need a standard AR-15 lower parts kit (fire control group, pins, magazine catch, etc.), a buffer tube kit (buffer tube, spring, buffer, castle nut, end plate), and a stock to complete this assembly.
